PS it does give me some strange error in the drivers setup about the Tascam not being fully authorized or whatever under XP I was going to suggest that you get the latest drivers and firmware update and re-install, but I see you've done that already. Perhaps it's time for a call to TASCAM.

Strange. What I meant is: upgrade; not a new install. If it doesn't work you can still do it. Not much time lost. Our system was back in the air within 2 hours and the only problem was a small svn and php5 apache config file. A new install would have taken considerably more time for this multi user system.
